How does fancut count views?
We pull official view counts from each platform's API every few hours, dedupe across reposts, and cap any single viewer per video. Only views on uploads carrying the fancut watermark count toward your payout.
When do clippers get paid?
fancut doesn't hold your money — it tracks your verified views and the creator pays you directly, peer-to-peer. Payouts run weekly (every Friday, 12:00 UTC) via Stripe, PayPal, or USDC once you clear the $10 minimum.
What about copyright / DMCA?
Creators explicitly grant clip rights when they post a bounty. fancut watermarks every output, and we handle takedowns on your behalf if anything escapes the campaign window.
Which platforms are supported?
TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, X, and Twitch clips on day one. Bluesky and Threads are in beta.
